Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FoHSS) has published the Master of Computer Application (MCA) Entrance Examination Notice for the Academic Year 2025 (2082/2083).
ELIGIBILITY
The entry requirement for students in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is:
✓ Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
✓ Bachelor of Engineering (BE Computer/Electronics/Information Technology/Software)
✓ Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
✓ Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc. CSIT)
✓ Bachelor of Information Management (BIM)
✓ Bachelor of Education in Information and Communication Technology (Bed. ICT/BICT)
Completed the Bachelor’s Degree with minimum B- (2.7) grade (as defined in grading system for BCA, TU, FOHSS or equivalent) or equivalent degree from recognized institution.
or
Minimum score of 45 percent (for annual system) in Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree.
ADMISSION DETAILS
• Online Entrance Application Form: 1 February -- 15 February 2026
(18 Magh - 3 Falgun 2082 B.S.)
• Online Entrance Application Form in Double Fees: 16 - 18 February 2026
(4 – 6 Falgun 2082 B.S.)
• Applicant can apply through entrance.tufohss.edu.np directly.
• For detail information, visit the website: www.fohss.tu.edu.np
• Entrance Examination Fee: Rs. 2,500/- (Two Thousand Five Hundreds Only). During the time of filling-up the application form, student should pay through e-Sewa or Khalti by online mode. The deposited amount cannot be refunded.
• Campus: For Only Patan Multiple Campus, Patandhoka, Lalitpur.
• Quota: 30 Only
• Entrance Examination (Written): 21 February 2026 (9 Falgun 2082 B.S.)
• Entrance Exam Time: 8:30 AM
• Exam Center will be published later.
• Entrance Result: 22 February 2026 (10th Falgun 2082 B.S.)
Note: The respective campuses should approve the applicant's form by 16 - 19 February 2026.
