Tribhuvan University conducts BSc CSIT Entrance Examinations every year. Students must appear and pass the entrance examination to be eligible for admission in the BSc CSIT Program in any college affiliated with Tribhuvan University. Every year, 6,000+ students participate in the entrance examination, but there are only around 3000 seats available all over Nepal. 

The BSc CSIT Entrance Exam has a pass score of 35 and a full score of 100. There will be questions in the Ten Plus 2 Level subjects of English, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Each subject is worth 25 points. Each multiple-choice question will be worth one mark.

You cannot pursue a BSc in CSIT at any TU-affiliated college without passing the entrance exam. The BSc CSIT Entrance form costs Rs. 1850.

Eligibility

  • The candidate must have a +2 degree or its equivalent in science, physics, and mathematics with 100-100 full marks at the certificate level, as well as a minimum grade point average of C or second division in each subject. Or,
  • A level: The candidate must have taken science courses in physics and mathematics with a minimum grade of D in each subject and 100-100 total marks. Or,
  • CTEVT- Candidates with a diploma are required to have taken physics and mathematics courses worth 100 to 100 points and received a second division. Or,
  • Foreign Universities: Applicants must have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Curriculum Development Center for the appropriate level.
  • Pass the Entrance Exam (35 Marks).
